OVTPA - The Meeting Minute

 

Old Business 8/07

The August Meeting of the OVTPA Board of Directors at Buckhorn Rance was called to order at 7:05pm by Vice President Denny Hogg. Those in attendance were: Kathy Hogg, Pam Bradshaw, Gary Booth, Adam Hogg, Connie Hoppel, Jamie McNish, Dee Kroh, Larry Kroh, and Melissa Shaner. Officers/Directors absent were Lona Blick, Randy Hoppel, Telese Blasiman, Rebecca Bendlak, Terry Sellers, Tom Reeder and Bob Jamison.

Minutes 8/07 Read - Approved
Treasurer’s Report: Balance $6,720.94

*Was brought up for the directors to discuss at next officers/directors meeting, if a person is over their ride limit, does the team have the option to ride without the 3rd party and still pay for the 3 man ride, or have a replacement rider ~ to be further discussed ~ also considered no ride limit.

*Evaluation Committee would like to look at member earnings to help evaluate ranking in members.

*Evaluation Committee would like to have a listing of all member with 2006 and 2007 ranking listing

*A list of all Directors who are up for elections will be provided at the 8/14 meeting.

*Motion was made to adjourn meeting

 

New Business 8/07


*9/15/07 Show Stewards are Gary Booth, Randy Hopple and Telese Blasiman

*There will be a General Membership meeting at the 9/15/07 penning at wild horse hollow.

*Members will be reinstating the Arena Award, members will vote at the 2007 banquet for Best Arena of the 2007 penning year.

*$370.00 was given to Connie Hopple for door prizes and decorations for the banquet hall, and members interested in helping her and Randy prepare for the banquent please contact them on the officers and directors section.

*Randy Hopple will be booking a DJ for the Banquet, any suggestions please provide to him contact information and pricing.

*$5,000 was given toward end of year awards. Telese and Tori are your Awards commitee.

*$12.95 for dinner at awards banquet, Tip and Tax are to be figured for general membership meeting, for total and final vote.

*Banquet Dinner is at 6pm with the doors opening at 5pm.
